Artist Statement

The attraction to color, the light and the mood it creates, becomes for me a gentle flow as I observe it changing throughout a day. It flows on from season to season, as life moves on with sometimes seemingly a babbling brook and other times a rushing stream. “It has been said with profound insight that “beauty will save the world”.(1) Using my camera, pastel and ultrachrome ink, uniting traditional techniques and theory with new technology, I endeavor to reflect the surrounding beauty through my art.

Summary:

Ann Skrobarczyk Adams’ love of gardening and art, merges, creating colorful botanicals combining traditional techniques and modern technology . Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, relocating to Dallas in 1997, she holds a B.A. in art, summa cum laude. Her art is included in private as well as corporate collections.
